Most Popular Video Games for Kids among Parents, Vol 2

As the eldest uncle to many boys and girls in my family, I’ve learnt to have impeccable insight into what kids love.

According to many parents and guardians, one of the best things about video games is their ability to keep kids occupied during the tedious but unavoidable chores and errands. However, according to my understanding, video games are a great tool for kids to embrace realism, interactivity and flexibility concerning many things in life.

Video games come with different storylines meant to inspire different values in kids’ life as they grown to become responsible adults. That’s why video gaming is the only part of my nephews’ and nieces’ lives that I encourage their parents to remain completely ‘uninvolved’ in.

But don’t judge me as neglectful guardian, I encourage their parents to love video games as much as their kids do, so they can get the right titles and bond over their shared love.

On that note, I’ve decided to give you a round up on some of most popular video games for kids (that have continued to remain relevant after many years) after my recent list of the new video games for kids.

These popular titles have extensively been considered right for any parent who may be finding it hard to trust the recent titles.

This is one of the best and most selling kids’ video game. Minecraft immerses kids in a world of varying terrains and habitats to explore with creative thinking, geometry and even a little geology as they construct different kids of 3D imaginative block structures.

According to the common sense media:

“Players explore the world and use the building blocks of the game to customize that world to create nearly anything they can imagine. That also means other players can create whatever they can imagine as well, which could potentially lead to younger players coming across potentially offensive content while exploring random worlds online. The game is relatively simple to pick up and play but is still complicated when it comes to building more complex items and structures.”
